Hey there wonderful people,

How you doing? Welcome to the five day wait for more RoC and some time to process the events of the weekend. It was a rock and roll weekend and again, despite the really wearying heat I had a fantastic time. The two dayer worked really well, lots of plot and fun were had on the event and raucous time in the pub after; it has been good to see so much happiness and camaraderie over the last few weeks. Seeing folks that have been larping with us for the last twenty years out and about with people that have only just started their career is very cool.

Blimey it was warm and yet some very enjoyable story was told: Being thrown out of the Iron Table was something cool to watch and the approach after by Black Acre. Loved Framptons response to being told that his Captain was late. Ore processing was pretty cool as was the realisation that the lineage of Llolonaise and Frampton come with a history, one that needs a sacrifice of blood and death. Raising the ship and then Jack getting to be in the debrief, I do like to be Jack in the debrief in case no-one had noticed.

Sunday followed on from day one but with a different sequence of heroes and a different destination in mind. For me being the reds was probably the part of the day that made me smile the most and generally the players reaction to them. Watching people play with the puzzleboxes made me happy because it seemed to be making them happy. Fenris is always a highlight of any event but, of course, the addition of the comedy that is Phil, Stephen and Adam is always great. Ravlish Lands talking and bringing the Ooboloo and Ebrell Islanders in was cool and we even had the traditional battle royale at the end! Also got to play Jack in the debrief :-)

Volunteers! You were few and far between this weekend and it was a hard graft for the people that did come along but all my love and thanks to those that did; you worked your cottons off: Matt Hussey and Elizabeth Kefford for the twice, Ashley Parton, Jon Wickenden and Anthony Gunfield you were tip top and all are thankful for your aid. As much as them the thanks goes to the behind the scenes people: Mike Roberts, Elizabeth Kefford, Simone Hibbert, Sara and Pete Walls and Ed Owen Jones you were all wonderful and kept the game running.

So that was last week and this is next:

Sat see's the kick off of a load of Tao based stuff based at the beginning of a potential plot, it's been heavily written for already and promoted through previous events and could do with some crew.
https://www.facebook.com/events/224533224815188/

Sunday see's the continuation of the Lycan Story of Kren Daer - Looks packed full of shapshifters so any crew would be welcomed.
https://www.facebook.com/events/461279197649063/

Tharinos is looking less and less likely as the crew we did have are vanishing! If you are around and up for crewing please do not leave it till last minute - We will be cancelling at the end of the month - Cheers..
https://www.facebook.com/events/1673634306040842/

So there we go - Downtimes should be heading back out today or tomorrow and I will be sorting out next month's bookings but it looks like we will have to wait till another time to go to Wales.

If you need me or us for any reason we will do everything that we can to be there for you.

In the meantime: Have a Foxes and Crows week people, I look forward to seeing a whole load of you at the weekend and bumping into even more of you between now and then.

Take Care of Each Other

If you are along, guess what? It am be hot so bring water, dress sensibly and chairs will help, however it is supposed to be raining on the Sunday.

Good Morning Wonderful Folk,

I hope that this message finds you in fine form, fetlock and fettle and that you all had a wonderful weekend wherever you were and whatever you were doing. I had a top drawer weekend from Friday night chatting and drinking to the events to the post events shenanigans and it was an absolute privilege to share those good times and laughs with all of you that were able to be there. Although I have to say: Sundays weather can get in the sea.

Saturday was a rock and roll event to ref, it was wicked bad to see the rebirth of the Tao somehow mixed in with the bag of the Privateers. Standing out for me was certainly my stroll with Bear and Galadrian on the walk to Genritters Gaze, the weather and the use of site made it feel as mystical as it was supposed to. I also loved the opening scenes of the day with the involvement of everything at the players disposal, Matt's slightly loopy Fae specialist, the whole scene tried and succeeded in involving the whole team. It was a topper day.

Sunday was a crazy day the tents saved us from the rain but the heat and humidity wearied a lot of people but still: he Wolves: I loved the wolves, it has been an age since the lands of Mohandis were visited but the players made it there and with Battik in tow. Totally a blast from the past and we got to tell more of the story of the Iron Gate Kuldisar and move the Kren Daer stuff forward, thankfully minimal combat in the weather. Let's hope that the next event we go forward with for this one is a little less sticky!

As ever the RoC and the weekend would not be what it is without the fabulous volunteers that make the game what it is. So to the crew of the weekend my happy thanks. That's you Kevin Pothecary and Matt Hussey (twice), Craig Beadnall, Elizabeth Kefford, AC Day, Ameh Brutnell, Jack Padley, James Wood and Anthony Gunfield. Also to the back room team: Much is the love: Mike Roberts, Pete Walls, Ed Owen Jones, Simone Hibbert, Elizabeth Kefford and Sara Walls, along with anone who I may have missed. You were are all outstanding people and we couldn't do it without you.

So that was last week and this is next

Saturday sees the first attack on Bulceephar - Be there to crew or play - As ever it is going to be great
https://www.facebook.com/events/616472492085316/

Sunday sees us tap in to save the KRO and get some more plot around the Baroness and Kern sorted.
https://www.facebook.com/events/266567640812310/

Tharinos is just around the corner
https://www.facebook.com/events/1673634306040842/
If you are along - Please let us know

And there we go!

If you need us let us know and we'll do what we can to help.

In the meantime have a Foxes and Crows week people, I look forward to seeing a whole load of you at the weekend and bumping into even more of you between now and then.

Take Care of Each Other

Morning Outstanding People,

After a scorcher of weekend, again, I hope that this message finds you in fine form, fetlock and fettle and that you had a fantastic weekend wherever you were and whatever you were doing. Last week a lot of work went into the leaders of the Faiths and player talk of the long system discussed changes were heard on lips in pubs. It was a top week and busy weekend; lots of people, lots of top game and moments and lots of good vibes with excellent people. It is aces to come away from a weekend feeling tired for all the right reasons but at the same time refreshed and reinvigorated. It really is a pleasure to run the system for you lot!

So Saturday started with a fair amount of lateness which led to a little bit of stress but it all seemed to end well in the end. It was a great meeting of the council that made a massive impact into the clergy, it needs to be followed up on and implemented well but there's a lot of legs in it. Tizca and Kali embodying Hurek and Faryoah was pretty damn cool and I enjoyed DPCing the voice of the triumvirate and seeing all of the other the heads of the faiths in action was pretty cool. There was a lot of good in Saturday and it was very excellent to see.

Sunday or ovening Sunday as it should be called, so hot was it, just picked up from where Saturday left off in the general excellence of things. Ground Hog day RoC was really executed especially as the crew numbers had more than halved overnight. My guys put in a wicked bad shift and wore themselves out to run the game and I am very proud of them. Rescuing the KRO was an ask and they did it really well: I loved the second run through of the Rhygahrean mission and the whole step through of "Sorry we're late", "This guys is the traitor" and "Oh yes! The path to Redfern" moments were all excellent. Brilliant finale and green door. 'Nuff said.

As ever the wonder of the weekend would not be possible without the dedication of the volunteers that give up their time to bring the game to life: To my heroes go all of my thanks: Elizabeth Kefford and Anthony Gunfield (twice), Ed Owen Jones, Martin Dewhurst, Mike Roberts, Kevin Pothecary, Ashley Parton, Jon Wickenden and Sarah Gillingham - You are amazing. Equally all my thanks to the back room team that make the whole idea of RoC even possible: Mike Roberts, Elizabeth Kefford, Pete Walls, Ed Owen Jones, Simone Hibbert, Jon Wickenden and anyone else that I have missed out. Cheers everyone.

So that was last week and next week I have a weekend off, I know a load of you are off to Greencloaks; I hope the weather holds well for you there. After that the following weekend is all busy and ready - Details are on the forums and on face book. But get in for Tharinos:

https://www.facebook.com/events/1673634306040842/

This week will be Tharinos prep and new system stuff for us as well as the methodical catch up of the long term projects.

So that's me - If you need me you know where I am -

Have a Foxes and Crows week people, I look forward to seeing a whole load of you at the weekend and bumping into even more of you between now and then.

Take Care of Each Other

Morning folks,

Hope you are all well, a lot of games were running this weekend, those of you that were at them: I hope you had an aces time, it looks like everything was awesome :-) We mainly got prepped up for Tharinos some more and that is what this post is going to kick off with: Players of Tharinos - This week will see the camping plan and formats for meetings, tunnelling and the like go up and the forums get busier.

The forum chatter will be looking for tent sizes and definite arrival times as well as car parking and cooking plans. Kites are a must and we'll be pushing the Minister votes out there as well as answering any questions that you might have for the Tharinos. Can you please get your name on the board and start sorting out your payments, main plot and personals are all skimming along nicely.

https://www.facebook.com/events/1673634306040842/

Saturday - The big guns are out to play - Needs crew and or big guns!
https://www.facebook.com/events/1896806697046062/

Sunday - Is a fun times generic - Good stuff
https://www.facebook.com/events/678098525862768/

It has been a busy week and we have achieved a hell of a lot so my thanks, massively, to the people that have made it happen - All the building, buying, writing, planning, scripting, rules updates and simplifying that is going on is really heart warming. It has been great to be a part of and despite the tiredness, it's been a really good time. Thanks to all the heroes: Ed Owen Jones, Pete Walls, Simone Hibbert, Shirley Austin, Elizabeth Kefford, Matt Hussey, Matt Warwick, James Henry, AC Day, Craig Beadnall, Anthony Gunfield, Jon Wickenden, Mike Roberts, Neil Gunfield, Jennie Jordan Gunfield and everyone else that I may have forgotten. That's a lot of people, that's a lot of Gunfields!

Right - best get on

If you need me, you know where I am.

Have a Foxes and Crows week people, I look forward to seeing a whole load of you next weekend and bumping into even more of you between now and then!

Take Care of Each Other

Hello folks,

Welcome to the five day wait for more RoC! Totally still digging on the vibe from the weekend, it was top notch to see so many peeps over the weekend, especially catching up with the old school guys and basically having a really enjoyable couple of days. Not only was the weekend refreshing and happy making we also watched Matt, Matt and Elizabeth flex their reffing muscles and properly take over as a team and on top of their extremely successful Sunday we got to playtest some newer much simpler rules and the people reading them have come back with some super positive feedback.

Saturday saw the gang head off to check out the whereabouts of the Guardians of Power on a road that led them to Dragons, Angelus, Ministers, Omar, Gloamings, Pipers and then Bashet Oot, Bethylak, Terref and the ever redoubtable Ourusht Kai! So it was busy. Stand outs for me on Saturday were: Tea with the Minister, listening to Omar shout "Hat" and then watching him running around outside his cell. The fact that no-one would talk to Mayfly Gloaming and of course being Bethylak is always best.

Sunday was, well for me resting but for everyone else really rather good as we watched Matt Hussey, Matt Warwick and Elizabeth Kefford take the reigns. They did an outstanding job, especially the two Matts who really got stuck in. I would list my favourite moments but I really think that should be down to one of the three refs. Watching them execute the game really well and especially watching them doing the debrief was outstanding. I really was very, very proud of them and I think they are going to go on and run some pretty amazing stuff. Well done guys.

As ever we couldn't run the event without the amazing crew so hats of to: Elizabeth Kefford and Matt Hussey for the twice and then Matt Warwick, Kevin Pothecary, Sarah Gillingham, Ed Owen Jones and AC Day you were all amazing and then the back room team that are getting everything done and prepping up for the Tharinos: Matt Hussey, Matt Warwick, Mike Roberts, Ed Own Jones, Elizabeth Kefford, Simone Hibbert, Jon Wickenden, Shirley Austin, AC Day, Craig Beadnall, Neil Gunfield, Anthony Gunfield, Pete Walls, James Henry and Matt Collinson (Sorry if I missed anyone there is a lot of you!) - My thanks to you all

So that was last week and this is next:
Saturday
https://www.facebook.com/events/968644373307344/

Sunday
https://www.facebook.com/events/394243834436864/

And Tharinos - Pay me please
https://www.facebook.com/events/1673634306040842/

And there we go, a weekend is over and the Monday Morning Message done.

If you need me you know where I am but till the next time

Have a Foxes and Crows week people, I look forward to seeing a whole bunch of you at the weekend and bumping into even more of you between now and then.

Take Care of Each Other

Hey all,

Welcome to the Monday Morning Message and a 5 day wait until more RoC! I hope that all you worthies are in fine form, fettle and fetlock and that you had an excellent weekend wherever you were and whatever you were doing. We had a great weekend and given the weather on Sunday the Gazebos once again won volunteer of the weekend keeping us dry and warm. It really is a different RoC with the tents and it sure beats getting freezing cold and soaking wet :-) It was also excellent to relax with so many old friends and meet new ones and get with the happy happy before, during and after the event :-)

So a lot happened this weekend in the journey to the Ancestral Lands and then the CoCP meeting in which we mainly defeated the raid: Almost there as Jack Winter as the beginnings of the choosing process for the next CoCP head began with some wonderful revelations regarding the other College Heads on Sunday. Saturday gave us the revelation of the power behind Kern, meeting Petkio Bone for the first time and hearing his mocking laughter and then the countess showed up: I really hope that someone writes that one up!

As ever these amazing weekends could not be brought to you without the ongoing support of the crew: Matt Warick, Matt Hussey, Elizabeth Kefford (twice), Dave Dulieu (Twice), Ed Owen Jones, Karl Ball and Emma Radwanski and the backroom team of James Henry, Elizabeth Kefford, Jon Wickenden, Ed Owen Jones, Shirley Austin, AC Day and Pete Walls - Massive thanks to all my heroes and my apologies if I have missed anyone out.

So that was last week and this is next:
Sat - The world of the Wyld come to life
https://www.facebook.com/events/2148262358767074/

Sun - Heroes required
https://www.facebook.com/events/2089062781343095/

Tharinos - Pay me please
https://www.facebook.com/events/1673634306040842/

And there are - If you need me you know where I am

Have a Foxes and Crows week people, I look forward to seeing a whole load of you at the weekend and bumping into even more of you between now and then.

Take Care of Each Other
